Ares P2P for Vista

Learning is something I do very reluctantly these days. When I use software on my computer I want it to work first time and I want it to be simple. Anything complex – or anything that doesn't do exactly what it says it is going to do – will likely land on the refuse pile. When I decided to take a look at filesharing I wanted something that had very little learning curve. I wanted something that I could turn on, use, then turn off again. I found Ares Vista.

Ares Vista was the first filesharing software that came up on my radar (well, Google's radar) and I read that it was designed to be compatible with Windows Vista (which I have). This looked as good as any so away I went. I downloaded and installed Ares Vista.

And what a pleasant surprise Ares Vista was. Not only was it easy to use, logical and intuitive, but it did exactly what it said it would. I could turn it on, download songs with no trouble or fuss, then turn it off. I didn't have to chat to people and I didn't have to do 'social networking' or whatever it is. It. Just. Worked.

For these reasons I really do think that Ares Vista is a class piece of software.

What others are saying:

New to filesharing and Ares Vista

Ares Vista surprisingly easy to use
